MISSION

The sworn assayer will be coordinate the fire assay area. He/she will analyze the content of ores, salts, and waste components of precious metals in our foundry, and carry out official control procedures of our PAMP products. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Precious metals analysis: fire assay, scorification, potentiometry.
  • Sampling: preparation of material for different sampling methods.
  • Instrumental analysis: XRF analysis
  • SOP preparation
  • Statistical evaluation and reporting: data evaluation, uncertainty evaluation
  • Quality control : preparation of control chart for each analytical method
  • Certificate of analysis

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor in chemistry or equivalent level
    • Assayer Federal diploma
    • Min 5 years of experience in the field of precious metal analysis

    QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

    • Team spirit, 
    • Precision and sense of responsibility
    • Organizational skills and flexibility
    • Interest in Technology
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
    • Swiss nationality or holder of a C permit
    • Italian, english and French, written and spoken
    • Swiss resident.
