MISSION
The Commercial Operations Lead will oversee the Mints/Minting Operations team, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient end-to-end precious metals operations — from client onboarding, contracting, coordination with production/sales team, product development, through to delivery, and settlement.
This hands-on leadership role combines operational excellence with strong client relationship management, driving premium service delivery and cross-department alignment, and continuous process improvement across all commercial and production-related activities.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of three to ensure high-quality execution and exceptional client service.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, aligned with company values and business objectives.
Client & Commercial Operations
- Serve as the operational partner to the Sales team.
- Oversee the full client lifecycle, from onboarding (KYC, tenders, quotations, offers, and contracts) through account maintenance and settlement.
- Supervise daily commercial operations, ensuring all transactions and terms are accurately recorded.
- Manage customer projects from design through production, packaging, and delivery — coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to client requests and issues, ensuring timely resolution and strong relationship management.
- Support Relationship Managers in assessing account performance and preparing data overviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Production, Design, Marketing, Logistics, Trading, Treasury, Compliance, and Legal to ensure seamless end-to-end workflows.
- Support and participate in customer visits, trade fairs, and client events.
- Coordinate production priorities jointly with Sales and Production teams.
Process & Systems Improvement
- Document, implement, and enhance operational processes to drive efficiency and compliance.
- Identify and support IT needs, contributing to system design, upgrades, and adoption.
- Promote synergies across departments and proactively suggest innovations or process improvements.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commercial Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in sales support, client service, or commercial operations, ideally within the Mints/Minting or Precious Metals industry.

- Fluency in German, Italian, and English.
