MISSION
The Junior Graphic Designer will support the creation and development of precious metal products, packaging, and commercial materials.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong creative potential, attention to detail, and a design style aligned with a premium brand environment. They should be able to translate direction into high-quality visual outputs, contribute fresh ideas, and consistently follow brand guidelines to ensure alignment with MKS PAMP’s quality standards. While the role is junior, the candidate is expected to show curiosity, a willingness to learn, and the ability to contribute to the evolution of the brand by bringing new perspectives.
The Junior Graphic Designer will report to the Global Head of Product Development, MKS PAMP, and will work in close collaboration with the Design team in Ticino.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Design
Support the creation of initial mockups and high-resolution renderings.
Assist in preparing graphic design documents with technical specifications.
Collaborate with senior designers and production teams to verify feasibility.
Follow project development phases (tooling, production, QA).
Coordinate with a freelance 3D sculptor for relief preparation.
Assist in creating colour files for print, holograms, and secondary applications.
Support the review and modification of product samples.
Contribute to capsule file development and specifications.
Packaging / Certificates
Serve as an operational partner to the Sales team.
Support design of outer packaging, gift sleeves, CertiPAMP cards, certificates, and product stickers.
Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with internal and external partners.
Assist with review, modification, and approval of samples.
Graphic Design
Contribute to advertising, web, and promotional materials.
Support updates for WMF booth graphics and product brochures/leaflets.
Assist with branding elements (e.g., logos, style guidelines for VERISCAN™ and Provenance™).
Create composite images for social media.
Support various corporate design needs (uniforms, greeting cards, menus, event graphics, internal visuals).
Assets
Assist with product photography (components and finished goods).
Perform basic photo retouching.
Support simple video/filming tasks and the creation of animated content.
Contribute to videos for booths and reseller promotional material.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Design Software: Good working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Basic familiarity with 3D tools (Carveco, Blender, Rhino, Keyshot) is a plus.Other Computer Skills: Comfortable working on Mac and PC; knowledge of InDesign and a basic understanding of printing methods.
Experience with AI-related design tools is an advantage.Professional Experience: 1–2 years of graphic design experience (agency or in-house), including internships or freelance work.
Learning Agility: Ability to quickly learn new design tools, experiment with different approaches, and adapt creatively to project needs.
Product & Packaging Awareness: Some understanding or interest in product and packaging design, ideally within high-end or premium brands.
Print Knowledge: Basic experience in preparing files for print and understanding print processes for packaging or promotional materials.
Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines accurately.
Customer Experience Mindset: Interest in understanding how design contributes to the full customer experience and supports strong product performance.
