MISSION
Support the Head of Gold & Silver Refinery in the day-to-day operational management of Gold and Silver refining activities, ensuring production continuity, safety, quality and compliance, and translating strategic objectives into effective operational execution.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate daily operations and refinery personnel across Gold and Silver Refineries, ensuring
clear task prioritization, execution and alignment with production plans and metal flows.
Provide operational guidance and direction to shop-floor personnel, ensuring adherence to procedures, priorities and safe working practices.
Support short-term operational planning, monitoring performance, production constraints and
operational continuity.
Ensure compliance with operating procedures, quality standards and Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements, supporting the management of deviations and corrective actions.
Act as the main operational interface with support functions (Quality, Laboratory, Maintenance
and Logistics).
Monitor key operational KPIs (e.g. yield, cycle time, scrap, downtime) and promptly escalate
deviations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, operational standardization and process discipline.
Provide first-level operational support in case of plant anomalies and contribute to documentation
management and audit activities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred; other Engineering degrees or technical diplomas
considered with relevant experience.
Previous experience in industrial or metallurgical environments, preferably within structured
production settings.
Proven experience in the operational management of production departments, including coordination of personnel.
Strong ability to analyse operational and process data to support decision-making and performance improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Knowledge of industrial safety, quality and operational management principles.
Ability to work under pressure in a complex and time-critical production environment.
Strong coordination skills and ability to manage priorities.
Data-driven and analytical approach to operational problem-solving.
Continuous improvement mindset with a pragmatic, execution-focused attitude.
Effective communication skills and ability to interface with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in English.
