MISSION
The mission of the Compliance Officer is to ensure that the Company operates within the boundaries of laws, regulations and ethical standards. This role is crucial in upholding the integrity and compliance of the organization's operations.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
KYC Due Diligence (AML-CFT and Responsible Sourcing)
- Review of due diligence files at account opening
- Conduct enhanced due diligence reviews
- Conduct periodic and event-driven reviews
- Provide support to the Front department and Operations for account opening and set-up
- Answer compliance requests from internal and external stakeholders
Transaction Monitoring and day-to-day activities
- Review daily transactions (including relevant documentation)
- Identify high-risk transactions and review clarification obtained
- Answer day-to-day requests from other Departments (Sales, Operations, Legal)
Support internal Compliance framework
- Organize compliance trainings
- Review and update due diligence toolkit
- Prepare compliance AML and responsible sourcing third-party audit process
- Investigate and respond to compliance breaches, ensuring corrective action is taken
- Design and implement compliance programs, policies, procedures
Ad-hoc projects
- Assist the Head of Compliance in monitoring regulatory-related matters
- Support continuous improvement of internal Management Information System
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree or similar level of studies in economy, law, sustainability or other relevant field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance, responsible sourcing, audit or consulting
- Demonstrated experience in working with regulatory authorities and managing audits, investigations, and compliance program
- Strong knowledge of the Swiss banking regulatory framework (including AML/CTF laws), responsible sourcing / ESG and precious metals

- Ability to prioritize, perform effectively under pressure, and work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
- Expertise in project management
- High degree of personal integrity and the ability to advocate for ethical behavior across the organization
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interact with colleagues of diverse cultures; respect for diversity
- Proficiency in spoken English and French is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset
