MISSION
The Compliance Officer, based in the Compliance Department in Geneva, is responsible for ensuring that MKS PAMP SA operates in full adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. This role plays a vital part in safeguarding the company’s integrity and maintaining a culture of compliance across all operations.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- KYC Due Diligence (AML-CFT and Responsible Sourcing):
- Review due diligence files for new account opening;
- Conduct enhanced due diligence reviews;
- Perform periodic and event-driven reviews;
- Support the Front Office and Operations in account onboarding and setup;
- Answer to compliance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Transaction Monitoring and day-to-day activities::
- Monitor transactions (including relevant documentation);
- Identify high-risk transactions and review clarification obtained;
- Answer day-to-day requests from other Departments (Sales, Operations, Legal).
- Support the internal Compliance framework:
- Organize and deliver compliance training sessions;
- Review and update the due diligence toolkit;
- Prepare compliance AML and responsible sourcing third-party audit process;
- Investigate compliance breaches and ensure corrective actions are implemented;
- Design and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ad-hoc projects:
- Assist the Head of Compliance with regulatory monitoring;
- Support the continuous improvement of the internal Management Information System.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree or similar level of studies in economics, law, sustainability or other relevant field;
- 7 to 10 years of proven experience in compliance, responsible sourcing, audit or consulting;
- Demonstrated experience in working with regulatory authorities and managing audits, investigations and compliance programs;
- Strong knowledge of the Swiss banking regulatory framework (including AML/CTF laws), responsible sourcing / ESG and precious metals.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to interact with colleagues of diverse cultures; respect for diversity
Fluency in English and French; additional languages are considered a plus;
Swiss or EU national or holder of a valid Swiss work permit.
